Why, Hello Everyone!

We are Parris and Kiri, two girls on our way to total world domination. Let’s get to know each other, shall we?

We both hail from the beautiful bay area of California (what lucky girls we are!), and grew up known in our social circles as the “crafty go-to person.” Our lives were VERY similar even though we lived 20 miles apart with no idea who the other person was (although after meeting we realized we grew up playing soccer against each other).

During the summer of 2006, God finally did the world a favor and we MET on a beautiful green soccer field, this time as teammates. The first roster that was made both of our names were misspelled as “Pams” and “Kin,” a common problem we have both encountered over the years (we don’t quite understand why people can’t seem to read our handwritten names properly). Of course, we quickly fell into a mutual obsession with one another. 6 months later Parris went away to school 3,000 miles away and well… we basically Facebook (or Myspace at the time) stalked each other over the next 5 years. During this time, Kiri as well took a brief hiatus to Illinois and eventually we both made our way back to California.We were officially reunited this summer and to say we are co-dependent is an understatement.

We had spent much time constantly sending each other new beauty products, nail polishes, clothing, and shoe items that the other person should purchase, and bouncing crafting ideas off one another (boyfriends and bank accounts, alike, have not been fond of this). Then out of the magical beauty of life it hit us one day “WHY DON’T WE START A BLOG?!?!”

Here on Pams and Kin you’ll find a cornucopia of fun! From beauty products, nail painting ideas, workout ideas, recipes, drinks, DIY ideas, and basically anything we feel that will enhance your life to be as amazing as ours.
